Mr. Jeff Denu

Mr. Denu began his martial arts training in 1988 at the original Karate America in Madison, Wisconsin. His instructor was the founder of Karate America, Mr. Randy Reid. After testing for his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1992, he opened the Karate America in Sun Prairie, WI under the guidance and direction of Mr. Reid. Two years later he moved to Florida with Mr. Reid to open a Karate America location in Fort Lauderdale. After one year in Florida he returned to Wisconsin for good and started Karate America Appleton in 1995.
Mr. Denu's martial arts background is heavily influenced by competition - sparring at local, state, and national tournament competitions, Super Fights, challenge matches, and full contact kickboxing. Currently Mr. Denu's training regimen includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the guidance of Bill Krieg, owner of the Fox Valley Grappling Club in Appleton. Mr. Denu's training also includes being a graduate of Promac (Professional Martial Arts College) in Sacramento, California under the direction of Mr. Dave Kovar. Through his years of teaching he has positively influenced thousands of families and students and helped many Karate America Appleton students reach the goal of Black Belt! Mr. Denu looks forward to watching Karate America Appleton students grow into the leaders of tomorrow.
